Actor turned Politician, Founder of Prajarajyam Party Padmabushan Chiranjeevi shocks by the Maoists. Regarding this a letter came to the news channel NTV. The later is in the name of Maoists. In that letter they questioned directly about Prajarajyam and its policies.
They said that all leaders came into prajarajyam already has been refused by the people, with these Rejected leaders how can he give social justice to all?
Maoists also commented on Chiru’s Speech at Prajarajyam inauguration meeting on 26th august 2008. Chiru said “Terrorism and Telangana issues are sensitive”. But Maoists in that letter questioned on these dialogues. They said Chiru has to be keen about these things.
For the sake of prajarajaym party ratha yatra by the chiru and others, they asked the police security of 50 members. They have given an application also regarding this. Hyderabad police has taken the application and discuss so many times about this and finally said that we would not give security to your meetings across Andhra Pradesh. On this police wrote a letter to prajarajyam party and government also.
But police has given one alternative to Chiranjeevi. Although we can’t give you security from Hyderabad, intimated about the schedule of the program then local police give security to you.
On the other hand Chiru forms own security with 300 members. Those 300 members will give personal security to chiranjeevi along the tour. The tour continues for 2 to 3 months. The tour may start from Telangana.
Producer Tammareddy Bhardwaja gives another shock to chiru. He makes comments on chiranjeevi. Actually he is not criticized chiranjeevi directly. He criticized the total politics, he said that total politics are corrupted, no one can change our politics, it is completed polluted.

NRIs Requests ECI for Common Symbol to PRP

With respect to the Election dates announced by Election Commission of India, NRIs worldwide came with the One Voice in requesting the Election Commission to grant the Common Symbol for Praja Rajyam Party.
Speaking on this NRIs feel its injustice to the newer parties like Praja Rajyam Party on denying the Common Symbol at this last minute.
We NRIs humbly request Election Commission of India to grant the Common Symbol to Praja Rajyam Party.

Dear Sir,
I am an NRI from USA and would like to bring the following for consideration and favorable action.
I am a well wisher of Praja Rajyam Party in Andhra Pradesh, which has more than 50 Lakh registered members and the Party and its President Mr. Chiranjeevi has a huge following in rural areas of the state of Andhra Pradesh. Quite a few of these voters are either illiterate or semi-literate and therefore, rely on the symbol to cast their votes. Lack of a common symbol for the party is bound to confuse voters and deprive them of choosing the leader of their choice. In the absence of allocation of a common symbol, the voters' ignorance will cause undue advantage for other parties.
Again, the post election scenario of not having a single symbol could also open legal issues and validity of elected member's association to the party. Therefore, request the CEC to consider this appeal and grant the party with a dedicated single symbol.
